About PTT
PTT stands for Parents and Teachers Together, our name for our parent’s club.
Organized to bring parents, guardians, grandparents, and other community members into a closer relationship with Periwinkle school. We encourage you to attend meetings and get involved. We look forward to meeting you!
PTT helps fund programs and activities such as Accelerated Reader, educational assemblies, field trips and many other areas in our school. We see the importance of supporting our Teachers and technology in our school, so our goal is to help contribute in those areas as well.
PTT knows the importance of having affordable family events as well. We organize the following events at Periwinkle:
- Family Movie Nights
- T-Shirt Sales
- Familes In Need BINGO Night
- Penny Drive
- Periwinkle Annual BBQ Family Fun Event / Silent Auction
- Science Night
- Art Night
- Technology for School
- Playground Equipment
- OMSI Assembly
Programs
PTT collects and administers the following programs:
- eScrip
Shop at Safeway and a percentage back on certain purchases is donated to the PTT. - Box Tops for Education
Look for the label on specially marked boxes of General Mills cereal, cake mixes and other products. Clip labels and return them to the school. They will be redeemed by the school for ten cents each.
